Plant maintenance worker needed in Canada by Superior Laundry Services Ltd. 

Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of a building in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; HVAC maintenance; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel consistent with Company policy

Plan for work projects, which will assure proper materials, are ordered and available for the repair and maintenance of plant equipment, which will keep inventories at a minimum and reduce parts cost
Maintain an effective safety awareness program, including regular departmental safety meetings
Ensure that all areas under his/her direction are properly staffed, trained, and evaluated in accordance with company guidelines and policies
Assist with the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets for engineering, monthly evaluation of budget variances
Interfaces with all other departments, , customer service, sales, and field operations
Supports the Division AAP/EEO goals regarding employment, training opportunities, promotions
Provide clients with full life-cycle project implementation consulting expertise including assessments, blueprinting, system build, testing and go-live stabilization
Prepare and facilitate assessment/blueprint workshops to analyze clients’ business requirements
Write detailed functional mapping to SAP applications, functional gap analysis, detailed blueprint design and process documentation and detailed functional specifications for any custom development
